dam was born and raised in Sunderland, in the North East of England, and moved to London in 2005 to begin a degree in Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance at the prestigious London College of Fashion. Once in London he immediately immersed himself into the world of assisting renowned makeup artists, testing with up and coming creatives and working with many of the colourful faces on London's vibrant club scene.
Adam's eye for beauty and his dedication to the art and technicality of makeup soon helped carve a strong career in the beauty industry. In 2008 he began a three year stint on the X-Factor makeup team before returning in 2014 as personal makeup artist to newest judge Mel B. Whist contributing to publications like Wonderland, i-D and Hunger, and building an extensive list of clients that include Topshop, ASOS, and Versace, he has worked regularly with some of the UK's biggest artists including Jessie Ware, Charli XCX, One Direction and Little Mix, travelling throughout Europe, the USA, Australia and Japan.
Combining his background in art and a deep commitment to his craft, Adam prides himself on precise application and attention to detail, from fresh and clean to bold and fearless, always maintaining a refined and immaculate aesthetic. Together with his calm and easy going nature and a professional approach Adam not only continues to make an impression in the fashion and beauty worlds but it has also allowed him to gain a growing celebrity following both on set and for red carpet occasions.
In 2013 Adam was named Brand Ambassador for Barry M Cosmetics, a role that involves working on all of their print and TV advertisements, online makeup tutorials, developing products and working closely with the beauty press.
Adam is based in London.
